On Saturday, we went to an 'apple fest' 9 miles south of Charlottesville. There were about 20 vendors of foods, wool, art, etc. And there was live music.
One big feature was the hay ride. There was a tractor pulling this cart. The 20 minute trek was very bumpy and up and down steep hills, through the woods. We sure got our money's worth!

At the exit, there was a very large booth where they were selling locally grown apples. We bought a lot.
