Matthew and Lindsay's Wedding

The wedding was Oct 8 in Savannah.  Here is the beautiful hall before the ceremony.  It was chosen for having the best dance floor:

Ambrosia Maple table

Years ago, I made a set of shelves out of this interesting wood for Grandma.  To everyone's shock, she wanted it painted.  Now we have disassembled it and taken the paint off.  I have made a small table out of some of the wood:

I did not take a close-up photo, but sometimes the dark areas look blue, which is neat.

This is going to be in the local, annual Art For Gifts display and sale.
