Color Coordination in the Bedroom

A while back, Jane made new dark blue and heavy window curtains for the driveway-side of the master bedroom.  Just recently she made new matching curtains for the porch side and (for the first time) the small window.  She used the same material for the bed skirt and decorative pillows on the bed.

Also two pillows in the sitting area.

Still, maybe not as coordinated as Emily would be, but a step in that direction.

Snow; Shelves; Chair; and Video

The shelves in the kitchen now have ten little-girls' shoes lined up on the bottom shelf:

New Shelves for the Kitchen

An old sewing table has occupied this space in the kitchen since we moved in.  It was used to hold pocket books, cell phones, car keys, things going 'out', etc.

I just finished making a three-shelf unit to replace it.  This will also allow the little girls to keep their shoes there -- and apparently, little girls too.

New Windy Point sign

Here is the Windy Point sign that all the kids gave us for Christmas.  We had a wrought iron stand made, and installed it today on our driveway.  This replaces the old decrepit sign we had made.  Click on the picture for a better view.
