Bird Houses

Some months ago, I made 4 birdhouses for the four grandkids.  The Florida boys have put their two up.  Now, it is time for the girls to put theirs up here.  The girls painted theirs this morning.  Then we put them 30 ft apart on the fenceposts at the cow field.  Here is Maggie's.

Retirement and Birthday Parties

After lunch at the Bistro celebrating Lee's retirement, all came back to our house for a birthday party for Megan.  Here she is getting some help opening presents.

She had a chocolate birthday cake with chocolate icing.  After our restaurant lunch and the birthday cake, we were pretty stuffed.

Today, Lee, Jim, and Megan came to lunch and Jane presented Lee with her queen-sized celtic quilt.

Winter Storm Saturn

Last night we had about a foot of snow.  Our first big snow of the winter.

We are supposed to get a few more inches today.

Harald and the girls built this snow fort and snowman.

The official local measurement was 16".

Jane and the girls made 4 snowmen, representing them and their cousins.  I am told that Michael has blue eyes, Anthony has brown eyes, and Ingrid has diamonds for eyes.
